4 Advanced Working Modes
4 advanced modes can be accessed by depressing the Mode Button and cycling through each one:
DC voltage: read the DC voltage with a resolution of 0.1 volts.
AC voltage: read the Max. voltage, the Min. voltage, frequency, and duty cycle.
Resistance: read the resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead.
Tone On/Off: technicians use the tone in a dark environment to distinguish the test results and turn it off when unnecessary.
Compnent Activation Function
Autel PS100 Power circuit tester tool will test the positive, negative, and open circuit easliy, also testing for continuity, diagnosing circuit failures, checking good and bad grounds, easy to read AC/DC current activating components on and off the vehicle, sensing MIN /MAX voltage, etc.By generating activation signals for the components, you can judge whether the components are in good condition, such as lights, motors, wipers, radiator fans, relays, etc.
Quickly Identify Polarity & Highly Sensitive Probe
Autel PS100 instantly checks component continuity and identifies positive, negative and open circuits. When the positive terminal is connected, the red LED light is on, accompanied by a beep. When the negative terminal is connected, the green LED is on, along with low pitched tone. If it is an open circuit, the LED light will not light. Overload Protection & Quick Self Test
10 Amp Circuit Breaker built-in to protect the tool from overload. The circuit breaker will trip if it becomes overloaded to protect the battery and give a buzzer warning. When the circuit breaker is tripped, the tool will NOT be able to conduct battery current to the tip even when the power switch is pressed. Besides, PS100 circuit tester has quick self test function, which can ensure the tester is in good condition before use.
